Custom Finishing

Northwoods offers to finish your cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and other wood components in one of our wide arrays of over 500 wood stains, glazes, Colortones, & Heirloom finishes. We use a high solid, moisture resistant Conversion Varnish to create the excellent quality furniture grade finish. Northwoods offers the largest selection of finishes available to homeowners and cabinetshops.

Need stain for finishing onsite?? We can provide you with the materials and information on how to do any finishing onsite to match our products.

Our tenons are tapered to allow for a better joint strength, with fewer gaps and better glue coverage. This also allows the stain to penetrate between the rail and panel to eliminate the white line in the winter months when the panel contracts.
